Woof Apple'a 670 bin dolar ceza

Tayvan hükümeti, 'burnunu mobil şirketlerin işine sokması' suçlamasıyla Apple'a 670 bin dolar ceza kesti. Apple'ın fiyat rekabetini önlemek için dağıtıcılarını yönlendirmeye çalıştığı düşünülüyor.

Apple'ın büyüme hırsı, Tayvan'da para cezası yemesine neden oldu. Tayvan Adil Ticaret Komisyonu, mobil hizmet sağlayıcılar ve mobil cihaz distribütörlerinin fiyatlama prosedürlerine müdahale ettiği gerekçesiyle, Apple'a 670 bin dolar ceza kesti.

Wall Street Journal'ın haberine göre, Apple, Tayvan'ın önde gelen üç mobil cihaz sağlayıcısını iPhone'u nasıl fiyatlandırmaları gerektiği konusunda yönlendirmeye çalışıyordu. Adil Ticaret Yasası'nı ihlal ettiği belirtilen Apple'a Çarşamba günü Pazar cezası kesildi.

Cezayı kesen komisyon, Apple'ın distribütörlük haklarını sattığı firmaların fiyatlandırma planlarına karışma hakkı bulunmadığını belirtti. Komisyon, distribütör firmalarla Apple arasındaki e-postaları inceledikten sonra, firmaların iPhone'ları satışa sunmadan önce belirledikleri fiyatları ilk önce Apple'a sunduğunu tespit etti.

WSJ, Apple'ın etkin olmak istediği piyasalardan biri olan Tayvan'da, firmalar arasında rekabet savaşı çıkmasını önlemek için böyle bir hareket yapmış olabileceğini belirtti.

SAMSUNG'DA CEZA ALMIŞTI

Tayvan Adil Ticaret Komisyonu, Ekim ayında Apple'ın küresel alandaki en büyük rakibi Samsung'a da ceza kesmişti.

Samsung'un, Tayvan'ın yerel markası HTC'yi karalamak için öğrencilere para verdiği ve internetteki forumlarda HTC telefonları hakkında olumsuz yorumlar yazdırdığı tespit edilmişti. Güney Koreli elektronik devi, komisyondan 335 bin dolar ceza yemişti.

Komisyon, Apple'ın temyize gidebileceğini, ancak aklanamaması halinde cezanın 1.7 milyon dolara çıkabileceğini açıkladı.
